Terms of service
The rules of the road for using Xernee Sell. We've kept it as plain as we can.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Xernee Sell, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3. Selling on Xernee
You may only sell products you legally own and are allowed to sell in your jurisdiction. Prohibited items include weapons, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, and items that infringe on intellectual property rights.
You're responsible for accurately representing your products — descriptions, photos, prices, and availability.
4. Fees
Xernee charges a platform fee on each completed sale. Standard payment processor fees (Paystack) apply separately. Current fees are listed on the pricing page.
5. Payouts
Payouts are settled to your linked bank account, subject to verification and standard banking timelines. Withdrawals can be paused if we detect suspicious activity, while we investigate.
6. Refunds & disputes
Buyers can dispute orders within 7 days of delivery. We will attempt to mediate; if a dispute is resolved against you, the order amount may be refunded from your wallet.
7. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
8. Liability
Xernee provides the platform "as is". We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or losses arising from third-party services (banks, dispatchers, etc.) — though we'll always do our best to make things right.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
